No one knew that Yellow Submarine began as life as John Lennon channeling loneliness. Until now. The origins of Yellow Submarine was released for the first time this week. John and Paul then worked on turning childhood neglect , into the playful, joyous song for children that everybody knows.

World faces most dangerous decade since WWII, Putin says

In one of his longest public appearances since he sent troops into Ukraine on February 24, Putin signalled he had no regrets about what he calls “a special operation” and accused the West of inciting the war and of playing a “dangerous, bloody and dirty” game that was sowing chaos across the world.

He cast the conflict in Ukraine as a battle between the West and Russia for the fate of the second-largest Eastern Slav country which he said had ended in tragedy for Kyiv.

Putin said he thought constantly of Russian casualties in Ukraine, but avoided getting into detail about what the West says are huge losses. But only Russia could guarantee the territorial integrity of Ukraine, he said.

Ultimately, Putin said, the West would have to talk to Russia and other major powers about the future of the world.

Orlando LGBTQ center cancels drag queen story hour over Neo-Nazi threats

ORLANDO, Fla. – Threats from Neo-Nazis have forced an LGBTQ community center in Orlando to cancel a planned “Drag Queen Story Hour” event for this weekend.

The LGBTQ Center on Mills Avenue announced the cancellation and notified the public about the threats on Facebook.

“We take these threats very seriously and would not want to endanger or expose children and their parents and guardians to bigotry and hate,” The Center said in its post. “We have the support of so many in our community including law enforcement, but as much as we would like to continue this fun-loving, innocent event, we feel that the safety of our community is our number one concern.”

State Rep. Anna Eskamani, D-Orlando, said the Anti-Defamation League alerted her office about the threats. Ben Popp, an investigative researcher from the ADL, says threats against drag queen reading events are a national trend.
