Hillary Clinton underwent a two-year-long, $7-million investigation in which she was accused by Republicans of failing to protect the four Americans who were killed during the attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi.
Now we have a president who, to date, has failed to protect over 3,000 Americans from being killed by the coronavirus and who gloats that if he keeps the death toll to 100,000 Americans dying that he has done a "pretty good job."
Trump needs to be called before the House of Representatives NOW to explain why he did absolutely nothing to protect us from a deadly virus he knew about three months in advance.
Remember when Trump and Melania visited the Texas shooting victims at the hospital last year?
Trump hasn't visited any coronavirus victims in the hospital. Weird, huh? Wonder why that is? He's usually so thoughtful and concerned. Huh. 
A ray of hope in this Al Jazeera article
Not that we aren't in the midst of a shit storm right now, and it's going to get massively worse within a matter of days, but I found an article on Al Jazeera's website called "In China, life returning to normal as coronavirus outbreak slows."
There is no telling how long it's going to last here in the U.S. with the Mango Menace's grossly incompetent handling of the epidemic, but in the article, it says that people in China had to stay home for about two months.
Two months is a long time for most of us to go without a paycheck, but still, hearing a finite "two months" made me feel slightly less freaked out.

We need to prepare to vote solely by mail or by drive-thru voting . . .
in all remaining state primaries and in the general election in November. And we need to set up a task force to make sure that every voter gets a ballot sent to him/her in the mail (or that ballots are available at places like post offices and libraries) and that mailed-in ballots from Democrats do not mysteriously disappear.
I think we should call our state election boards now and demand mail-in and drive-thru voting.
