Again I can't copy text. This article asserts the order closes all nonessential businesses for 2 weeks. Other articles I've seen state that businesses which cannot operate safely must close, whatever the hell that's supposed to mean.

As coronavirus sweeps the globe, there is not a single Trilogy Evo Universal ventilator — developed with government funds — in the U.S. stockpile. Meanwhile, Royal Philips N.V. has sold higher-priced versions to clients around the world.
Five years ago, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services tried to plug a crucial hole in its preparations for a global pandemic, signing a $13.8 million contract with a Pennsylvania manufacturer to create a low-cost, portable, easy-to-use ventilator that could be stockpiled for emergencies.
This past September, with the design of the new Trilogy Evo Universal finally cleared by the Food and Drug Administration, HHS ordered 10,000 of the ventilators for the Strategic National Stockpile at a cost of $3,280 each.
But as the pandemic continues to spread across the globe, there is still not a single Trilogy Evo Universal in the stockpile.

So the bestselling contemporary horror novelist has difficulty understanding why authorities did not see the coronavirus crisis coming, or take the necessary precautionary steps.
“Just in the last three or four weeks people are saying to me, ‘We are living in a Stephen King world,’ and boy, all I can say is I wish we weren’t,” King, who has sold an estimated 350m books worldwide, told CNN.
“This has been waiting in the wings for a long, long time. I wrote The Stand about a pandemic that wipes out most of the human race, and thank God this one isn’t that bad, but I wrote that in 1979 and ever since then this has just been waiting to happen.

Dear Friends,
It has occurred to me that this just might be a way to help save our country while also uplifting the spirits of homebound folks...
I do not have the knowledge or funds (?) to do this, but I'm good connecting with folks on the phone.
People are frightened, lonely, & bored...they might just engage us enough for us to be able to educate them about how dump CAUSED so many deaths from covid & we might be able to inspire them to register AND get out & vote!
What do you folks think?
Previously posted in GD in error. Apologies, but in my mind, I was focusing on getting truth to voters about dump killing people, encouraging voter registration, and - frankly - the primaries are over in my mind. 😊👍
