Democratic Part 'stole' All Star Game

Both the Republican National Committee and the Senate Republican campaign arm will be airing attack ads Monday and Tuesday, during Major League Baseball's All-Star activities.

The ads blame Democrats for the economic costs for Georgia stemming from by the MLB's decision to move the All-Star Game from Atlanta to Denver, after an changes to Georgia's election laws

The Cobb County Travel and Tourism Bureau estimated in April that the move cost Atlanta $100 million in lost revenue, and would have been "a big boost" to local businesses after the COVID-19 pandemic. Colorado Governor Jared Polis and Denver Mayor Michael Hancock, both Democrats, estimated Denver would see $100 million in revenue from hosting the MLB All-Star game.

I know I shouldn't be surprised or shocked by what It does anymore

But He co opted the phrase "Say her name..." for Ashley Babbit.

Do you have any opinion of Mehdi Hassan?

I have mixed feelings about him. He seems passionate and committed some things I agree with. But also very aggressive almost hostile particularly towards people that don't totally agree with him. Hassan appears to dislike Biden on that basis, though has, grudgingly admitted that he's done some good things.

Please forgive the historical ignorance.

But why was the statue of Lewis, Clark and Sacagawea seen as nessecesary to be removed along with Confederate figures?

Is Porn a Public Health Crisis? 16 States Say Yes

In just three years, more than a dozen states have passed resolutions declaring pornography a public health crisis. The research is more complicated.

For Todd Weiler, it started with a noisy constituent. The state senator in Utah, a Republican, was getting frequent calls from a local dentist who wanted to know what he was going to do about pornography. “I’m a lawyer," Weiler recalls telling her. "I understand the First Amendment, so I was telling her a lot of, ‘We can’t do that, we can’t do that.'"

Still, Weiler was able to get a resolution passed in 2016 declaring pornography a public health crisis. Since Utah’s first-in-the-nation resolution, the idea has picked up considerable steam: 15 other states have passed identical or near-identical resolutions.

Weiler says he changed his tune when the National Center on Sexual Exploitation approached him with the idea. “They told me," he recalls, "‘If you can pass this, we can get this passed in 15 more states. We just need one legislator to stick his neck out.'”

Trump's rabble rousing over Ashley Babbit's death was sickening.

Especially since HE was responsible for it, for ginning up that entire horrid CF. She would be alive and unharmed, along with dozens of capitol policemen if he hadn't stirred it up.

And to then, bellow from a stage to make it seem like there is some terrible cover up and conspiracy in front of his gullible easily enraged drones which may get even more police officers killed?

I know its been said a great deal, but there is no bottom to that sociopathic mango.

Sadly, I think I agree with Michael Steele.

Wieselberg doesn't seen like he going to 'flip', his ties to Trump, while almost certainly as one sided, appear deeper and longer than Michael Cohen, for one example, and regretably he may be actually willing to repay Trump's largess by taking a federal charge and jail time even though should the situation be reversed, Trump would drawn up an illuminated manuscript of every illegal done since they met blaming it all on him to avoid jail time.

I hope I'm wrong. I really want to see the orange sherbet colored bastard -finally- face real repercussions, maybe I just pessimistic after seeing so many "We got 'em now!' moments land with dull thud and being cynical.

Of all the restrictive voting laws that have been proposed or passed how is this one justified:

Making passing out water or food to people waiting in long and possibly sweltering lines a crime? How is that supposed to maintain so called Election Integrity? It really comes across as petty and mean spirited, meant to make folks that dare exercise their rights despite the will of their 'lord' suffer for it.

What figles- err. rational reasonable and totes not bigoted explanation was put forth for it?
