Nexus2's JournalMcConnell: The Senate is not going to be bullied into rushing out more borrowed money into the hands
of Democrats' rich friends who don't need the help,
Bullied by who exactly: the millions of people in increasingly desperate need, the President that worked Mitch like a ventriloquist dummy for the last 4 yrs, who?
For that matter, who are the Democrats rich friends? I guess they live in those badly managed Blue states that should file for bankruptcy.
Are there additional step to take if your SSI or SSD to receive a Stimulus/Relief deposit?
With the last one, some had to use the non-filer form or some other procedures to receive the payment. Has anything like that been announced for this one?
What impact would a repeal of Section 230 have?
I have to confess I'm not familiar with it. I reflexively assumed that if Trump wants it gone that its probably a good thing its there.
Trump: The other white meat
Avoiding giving more money to citizens in need.
THAT'S the hill most Republican's are ready and eager to die on to a degree that you'd think the money was coming out of their own pockets.
Why is McConnell so dead set against payments to help state and local governments?
It really a hill he is determined to die on and was apparently willing to trade direct payments to citizen (albeit reduced from the previous ones) to keep off the so called compromise. What's up with Turtleman?
Hey, I thought
it was the radical, crazed and violent out of control Left that would bring rule by mob.
Vaccine skeptic testifies before Senate
Did this go as 'well' as might be expected?
Dr. Fauci just mentioned that a friend of his was being awarded:
A Nobel prize for his work. So how much of a chance that Trump remarks, tweets, etc about how he deserves one for the vaccine Or given how high on his supply he seems to be ATM, even claims to have won one or to have been 'robbed' of it by Fauci's friend (and a whole slew of phantom enemies)?
IIRC, its not like he hasn't claimed similar things before.
What is the statute of Limitations length for Interfering with an election?
Since Trump has been committing it fairly openly but, of course logically a sitting president can't be indicted , it will have to wait, 44(?) days or someone has some pardoning to do?
