I called 911

Coming out of my Dr. apt. today I headed to the parking garage I hear this toddler screaming 😱 “no daddy no!” over and over again. At first I thought the child was having a tantrum but the scream and the words of no daddy no wasn’t right. As I stood by my car I saw the young thin father just sitting in the passenger side of his car. I stood there and just stared his way. He then calmly went to the driver’s side and the toddler just kept screaming no daddy no. I got in my car thinking I was over reacting and started to leave. I put my window down as I drove by and the toddler kept screaming. I almost left the campus but pulled over. I saw a woman in scrubs and I told her. Her advice was for me to call 911 and they would connect me to the campus cops. I new that. I called 911 and immediately apologize. She transferred me to the campus cops and I apologized again. I told them exactly what I saw and I just couldn’t continue to leave unless I told them. He was nice and told me it was ok and they would send a car to where I directed them. I felt relieved and left. Ok non climaxable (I think that’s a word)but whatever I would be up all night if I didn’t do that

WASHINGTON, Aug 19 (Reuters) - Law enforcement officials surrounded a man with possible explosives sitting in a vehicle near the U.S. Capitol on Thursday, as nearby buildings were evacuated and emergency vehicles rushed to the scene about a mile from the White House.

"This is an active bomb threat investigation," the U.S. Capitol Police said on Twitter.

The man was in a vehicle outside the Library of Congress, across the street from the Capitol, a U.S. law enforcement source said.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott issued an executive order Wednesday to try to stop the dispersion of the coronavirus in his state by giving state police the power to stop and turn back vehicles — particularly buses — carrying illegal immigrants who were caught at the border, then released by the Biden administration.

Mr. Abbott said police can also impound vehicles.

He said he had to step in to handle the thousands of illegal immigrants being caught that are quickly released by Homeland Security every week, saying there’s evidence they are a significant source of spread of the coronavirus.
