Does anyone know how much longer his term is? I imagine Biden would want a very good reason to remove Wray. Something that wouldn't look political. Biden will not pull a Trump when firing an FBI director. We may be stuck with this asshole.
If anyone tells you Biden is too old, senile, to be president, say this.
That old senile guy is helping to kick the shit out of Trumps boyfriend in Ukraine, Putin. That will end the conservation.
A lesson was taught yesterday. It would be wise to learn from this lesson.
How many times have we heard Garland being accused of taking too long to search Trumps home. Now we learn it was a few FBI agents slowing things down. It was Garland and prosecutors who were being aggressive, it was few a FBI agents who were being timid, afraid to search Trumps home.
People who who do not learn from this lesson will continue to make accusations that will turn out to be unfounded.
The list of accusations against Garland is very, very, long. Garland has not been able to respond to many of these accusations. We don't hear his side of the story. We don't know all the facts as yesterday news proved.
Watching Republican hearings in Congress is like watching,
Ted Bundy holding a hearing about serial killers. They have no credibility. They have put themselves in a no win situation.
During Trumps presidency they became so corrupt, they lied and spread misinformation constantly. Their hypocrisy is easily exposed by the Democrats at the hearings. They look foolish.

Ari was interviewing a top DOJ official who worked directly with Garland. He said this.
Because of grand jury rules Garland, the DOJ cannot always respond to things that are said on the news about the investigations. Things that may or may not be true. He also said this, "There is a GAP between what the DOJ has been doing and what the public knows."
That says it all. I have been trying to make this point for months at DU. We are getting only one side of the story. People, prosecutors come on the news and give their opinion about the investigations. Garland, DOJ cannot respond because of grand jury rules.
A reporter, a news organization, reports a story about the investigations. It gets people angry, they draw conclusions that may or may not be true. Garland, DOJ cannot respond because of grand jury rules.
I have been saying from the beginning we have to wait to see what happens in the investigations. Nobody knows fully what is going on accept for Garland, DOJ. To draw conclusions about something without both sides of the story will lead to mistakes, false accusations.
We have all seen this happening for months.
The defeatists here at DU are out in full force today.
According to them we are doomed, there is no hope for justice, it's over. The investigators are either incompetent, corrupt, Trump protectors. Look, the investigators were arguing about searching Trumps home. That proves it, we are doomed. It's too late now. It was an EASY decision to search a former presidents home for the first time in history. Joke!
They claim Garland is to blame, that's why nothing is happening. The FBI was arguing, that means Wray is corrupt. There are secret undercover Trump FBI agents protecting Trump.

I am shocked, (not really) DOJ and the FBI were arguing about raiding Trumps home.
This proves Garland failed, Wray is corrupt, they are all incompetent, must be Trump loving FBI agents slowing the investigation.
There is no way this could be a legitimate argument about raiding a former presidents home for the first time in our history. There are no legal or political ramifications to consider, this was an easy decision.

Fox News is in deep shit. Over the years Fox became more and more extreme. It got to the point where if they told the truth their viewers would turn on them. That's what happened when they called Arizona for Biden.
This is just a guess, I doubt Rupert, Fox News, want this to go to trial. That would not go well for them. They will probably try to settle out of court. Either way I have a feeling other people, companies that may have been harmed by their lies are watching this case closely. Fox News is going to pay big time.
You can attack our democracy, harm our democracy with extremism. In the end I would bet on our democracy to win out. Our democracy is a survivor.
I have always been intrigued by the silence surrounding the Coup Headquarters.
The J6 committee never really dug deep in to what took place at the Willard Hotel. They interviewed many of the people who were at the Willard. I don't know how many questions they asked them about what they doing at the Willard. There must be videos from the Willard showing people coming and going. We know Stone and the Proud Boys were at the Willard. Silence.
I find it hard to believe the DOJ has not been investigating the Coup Headquarters. That's why I have always believed we don't know everything the DOJ has been doing in its investigation.
When something doesn't make sense I take notice. The silence around the Coup Headquarters does not make sense. Something is going on.
Trumps infamous phone call combined with other evidence shows a coordinated conspiracy.

Trumps phone call by itself may not be enough to get an indictment, a conviction. Combine it with all the other evidence, other people, will convince a grand jury to indict. We know this is true because the special grand jury unanimously recommended indictments.
Play Trumps phone call to a trial jury and then show what Rudy, Meadows, were doing. Show the fake electors scheme, show all the evidence gathered. A trial jury will understand this was a coordinated conspiracy to overturn the election in Georgia.
That's my opinion and I'm sticking with it.
