Proud, liberal Texas in the midst of a vast amount of ultra right-wingers. Home town to Congressman Ralph Hall, oldest member of congress and also a member of the Tea Party caucus. Ralph reflects the general attitude of my county and city. Ironically, I and my family have known Ralph for some 35 years, and he's a family friend. But my elderly mother and I disagree with him on almost every issue.
