for free, recycling any of the Grimm's fairy tales because they're hundreds of years old. All works published since 1922 are in the public domain. Do you read German? That will help.
But you can't simply take Disney's work (a highly sanitized and Americanized version of the oral stories) and use that for free -- except for any stories that are past the copyright date.
