In rushing to throw Franken under the bus, guess they didn't think of that.

Or that McConnell might not even seat the replacement Democrat by using the same spurious argument he did in not seating O's SCOTUS pick — "we'll let the people decide"— meaning the 2018 special election in which potential repug candidates are already lining up to run.
