77. As long as I don't lose power, or have a family emergency, I can grin and bear it

2013 through 2015 were horrible winters, in Michigan, with record cold/snow depth and power outages and me going through carbon monoxide exposure. At the same time we were dealing with multiple family health issues and deaths. Plus, I was still working at a very stressful job so I was constantly having to deal with driving in horrible road conditions while in a state of total stress. So, bad winter weather triggers some awful memories. Then this year my brother broke his elbow so I was again doing a lot of driving, both day and night, on slick roads, getting him sorted.

I do keep a well stocked pantry, have lots of books to read, and am trying REALLY hard to not let the weather send me down a bad memory lane. I guess it's still a work in progress.
