In reply to the discussion: Gallup: Hillary Clinton is the Most Admired Woman in the World [View all]lapucelle
(20,966 posts)30. The respondents are permitted to name any person in the world.
"Gallups most admired man and woman poll is an annual poll that Gallup has conducted at the end of most years since 1948. Americans are asked, without prompting, to say what man and woman 'living today in any part of the world, do [they] admire most?' The result is published as a top ten list."
According to the Gallup poll results, HRC is the most admired woman in the world.
If this were a poll to determine "the most admired man/woman" in America, Pope Francis, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Dalai Lama, Angela Merkel, Queen Elizabeth II, and Duchess Kate Middleton would not be on the top ten lists.
