me with repubs, and if you read my full post I did state
I'm not sure if this is universal. I didn't know it until I started racking up health bills then I got that call from UCONN looking for their money. Once the person on the other end of the phone realized I was without insurance he lowered all my bills by 40%

That's truly shocking. My sister got quotes like that but she's a self employed attorney who does..

Like my sister. She stayed with the insurance she had because the duductable was lower and no co-pay

You estimate your yearly income and adjust payment accordingly, from what I have seen.

You should bother. Medicare is great. At least get "grandfathered" in to it.

My husband has Medicare and it paid for all of his radiation treatments
