Moore’s accusers were named and their stories vetted, and the victim of the sexual assault was approached by a legitimate, well respected newspaper, and had nothing to gain but public humiliation.

Franken’s named accusers are literal, documented GOP operatives, coordinated by Roger Stone. The stories either turned out to be lies (like the picture) or nonsensical (he secretly wanted to kiss me on my lips while everyone watched, but actually kissed me on my cheek; he put his hand around my waist while we took a picture together and it made me feel fat; the stories are true because in 2006 he looked at my cleavage).

Most were anonymous accusations, done through blogging sites like Jezebel or HuffPo. The authors of those articles have documented histories of falling for rape hoaxes — even defending the hoaxers after the hoax was verified as a hoax. None of that “double checking and undercover camera” stuff like the The Post did, which is why the anonymous “accusers” went to GOSSIP SITES instead of reporters.

And even then, one of the anonymous accusations was LITERALLY “Al Franken did NOT kiss me, and then paraphrased Trump’s Access Hollywood tape.” No wonder people say critical thinking isn’t taught in schools anymore.
