I said she may have a point. How do you know she's uninformed?

There was also a thorough investigation of the Central Park rapist case some 25 years ago, or whatever it was, with many, many people interviewed, facts ferreted out, etc. There were convictions -- which were overturned years later, once DNA evidence became available.

Why this aversion to even considering a different possibility?
