The trouble is always that corporations will make it so expensive to pursue a legal remedy that it's never worth a plaintiff's time and money to follow through. It would probably end up costing her $20,000 in court costs and attorney fees just to win a year's worth of dog food. Nobody's ever willing to go through that kind of ordeal, so the corporations get away with reneging...
