there is no such thing as an anti-war Republican, (3) judging by the Des Moines Register poll yesterday, Paul is the only factor that will delay the coronation of Romney as long as possible and delaying the coronation helps Obama, (4) if Paul runs as a third-party candidate, he hurts Romney more than Obama, and (5) if the Paulista wingnuts were not supporting Paul, they would probably be supporting some other wingnut who might actually have a chance at affecting the national debate (or -- worse still -- they'd be pushing Palin to enter the race).

Paulistas are just like unwanted religious missionaries who knock on your door to interrupt your weekend in order to offer you half-baked literature you don't want: you could get furious, but the easiest and best thing to do is to politely send them away.
