34. Farm breakfast

3 fresh eggs from my own hens, cooked in the microwave with mushrooms and a little mozzarella. Big bowl of oatmeal with cinnamon and brown sugar. OJ, coffee.

When you're heading out in 10 degrees and minus windchill to carry buckets of warm water from the kitchen to horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, various waterfowl, and a bunch of barn cats, because all of the hoses are frozen, you'd best be prepared. It takes about an hour, by the time you also feed.
