strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, red grapes, banana slices, walnuts, dried cranberries, and flaxseed meal. It's a feast, and a healthy dose of antioxidants and fiber to start the day.
On weekends it's occasionally scrambled eggs (sometimes with added chopped onions & bell peppers and/or avocado) with toast & jam, grits, and Gimme Lean veggie sausage; or oatmeal with spices (cinnamon, allspice, cloves, cardamom, freshly ground nutmeg) and chopped dried fruits (dates, figs, apricots, cherries, cranberries), plus minced fresh ginger, toasted almond slivers, Grade B maple syrup, and milk. YUM!
Beverages: at least one tall glass of water every morning, usually a small glass of OJ, and black coffee (ground fresh and brewed with a Hario pour-over dealie) every other day -- black tea on alternate days so I don't get too strung out on coffee.
Dang, now I want to go to bed so I can get up and have breakfast!
