3. What am I missing?

We have enough guns to almost put one in every American's hands, I think I saw 8.8 guns for every 10 people.
Only 4 out of ten American homes have a gun.
If you own 1 gun your are likely to own 7 guns.
So in reality a minority of Americans owns the guns but 70+% support gun ownership?

What am I missing?
