(53,434 posts)72. Since there are several responses saying that it is absurd to expect the NYT to know who this woman
is while they of course would know who Norman Lear is I decided to look them up on imdb. Lear, aside from a current original series created by credit hasn't worked since 1994. Conversely, she has been in three tv series as a regular since 2000 and has several guest appearances in the same period. He wasn't exactly Harrison Ford.

It really is incompetence to not know who this woman is when your job is covering award shows.
