the victims families merely want to talk about their loved ones, grieve and not engage in controversial talk about laws right now...
people deal with their emotions in different ways... many of us want to address our intense emotions about gun violence as a way to deal with our grief... some people want to not even think about those things in their time of grief... we are different and somehow must attempt some respect for each other...
(not to say that some of us aren't irrational and stupid about how we approach this issue)
