50. I've known a lot of non-sport fans

who didn't know jack about what it is going on in politics or what is going on in the world. They had their distractions but the most consistent thing is they don't follow the news. If they aren't watching sports, they probably won't watch the news (or go online to read trusted sources).

Sports are indicative of people who have some free time & some "extra" income to spend on games. Nothing more, nothing less.
