36. Why would you think I was baiting you or anyone?

Did you realize that the "n-word" euphemism only came into vogue in 1995 during the OJ Simpson trial when the media had to report on Mark Furhman's use of racial slurs and the word couldn't be said on television.

There's a difference between black people using the word amongst ourselves in a pejorative way (even jokingly) and using it while discussing the use of the word.

If I'm discussing the use of the word, I'm likely going to say/write it, whether -I'm talking to a white person or a black person. That's not baiting. I assume most intelligent white people are mature enough not to get the vapors when they read the word in quotes and in a context that's clear is not insulting or an attack.
