Set-up. "So and so set him up by making him angry."
Set up (2). "The democrats planned this after the "shithole" comments in order to make this president look bad."
Hot mic/Privacy. "People are entitled to their own thoughts and opinions and this was spoken in a private moment."
Context. "The comment was taken out of context because he was talking about "such and such" and how not to discuss blacks."
Talking points. That's more tricky, but the one you know they will all peddle: "He's not a racist! FAKE NEWS!"
