But the cell phone records should be dispositive on whether Larsen had help from his handheld device, or if he's just naturally reckless. When I first heard that a lawsuit had just been filed for this incident from last summer, I wondered if it wasn't prematurely filed (guessing the statute of limitations is two years on the claim for relief). But from Larsen's comments, it seems he may not be the most cooperative person on God's green earth (or terribly cognizant of the seriousness of his misconduct), and a lawsuit is a good way to get someone to cooperate.
