13. I'm white, and I was at this party once...

a circle of white guys standing around talking about jobs, drinking beer (back when I drank beer).

This one guy had previously worked at a large company, but worked somewhere else now. I asked him why he left the old job and he said he got laid off and he was replaced by a "black guy".

Well, he WHISPERED "black guy". Picture that...he's talking in a normal voice and he whispered "black guy".

I said...Why are you whispering? Doesn't he know he's black?

Nervous laughter by him...then he changed the subject.

I don't understand people.
