He was if not complicit, at least not too upset about the god awful swift boating of John Kerry, which I only recently found out about. Remember all the purple heart band aids at the convention? I thought his worst offense was unleashing Palin on us, but no. I didn't realize his sleaze went back to 2004.

I will never be a cheerleader for him regardless of what he says now, which actually isn't much of a heavy lift, sorry.
