And if we continued the shutdown with no GOP types...it is on us only...and they could have taken CHIP out at any time. The GOP isn't giving in on DACA...we have one more go at it...but you can't shut down the government until 18. It is not caving but recognizing we don't have the power to fix this.I don't think we will get DACA in two weeks either...better take the best deal the GOP offers... because that is all there will be.
