But President Obama was correct in saying they would have impeached him over this.

It seems odd that Obama would actually say such a thing. That would be out-of-character for him.

Was this part of an interview? He's usually much more thoughtful and introspective when it comes to things like that.

Maybe it was it overheard when he was speaking privately to someone else?
