I agree with the posters upthread who say these things are usually in the works for years in advance and that the Airlift Command is pretty apolitical.
I remember the brouhaha ove the $11billion helicopter deal that was started years before Obama even took office but the repigs used it to bash Obama as if he was the person who placed the order. He cancelled it.
So yeah, I doubt Mango Mussolini had anything to do with it. But I'm not married to that idea.
And I'm all for using it to bash Trump over the head with this issue whether he is involved or not. Like I said, "it's his turn in the barrel." Though that jagoff will probably double the order and his trumpanzee fans will howl with glee and shake their cages "durrrrr like a boss!!!!"

It seems odd that Obama would actually say such a thing. That would be out-of-character for him.

As noted in the article, an adviser to Obama, Eric Schultz, said that. Not Obama.

You're correct. Obama did NOT say that. It's definitely not Obama's style to say things like that.

It would have shown poor judgement if Obama had actually said something like that...

They're expensive because they're buying the refrigerators at Best Buy instead of Costco.
