14. It was amazing...took my teens to see it!

We were all applauding and saying YEAH! several times during the film...
I myself was not aware of the history behind the Pentagon Papers, so I learned a LOT too...

Also, very good sub-story about women's rights... The FIRST woman publisher and her struggle to find her own voice...Powerful performance by Streep (when has she NOT been amazing?).

Also a very interesting piece of journalism history I was not aware of, the close relationship between editors, publishers, reporters and politicians...That had to end because it was more important for the Journalists to tell the truth than to shield their friends in power. I wish we had more of that today.

As someone who considers themselves a journalist (my last newsroom stint was early 2000's), this was not just a history lesson, but a lesson for NOW as well... Our First Amendment is on shaky ground when the POTUS calls the MSM "fake" ...Those who consider themselves journalists need to STAND UP and FIGHT for the Free Press!!!
