Constant claims that any day now Trump is going to fire Mueller or now Rosenstein. Daily claims that Mueller has many indictments prepared and will unseal them tomorrow or the next day. Predictions of another Saturday Night Massacre.

Yes, we have finally learned that Trump apparently wanted to fire Mueller back last summer, but cooler heads around him prevailed. As for another Saturday Night Massacre, some of those surrounding Trump are old enough to remember it and recall that that's when the Watergate investigation really ramped up, and they're smart enough not to want a repeat. Although not smart enough or worried enough to leave their jobs so far.

Remember that there were supposed to be mass resignations of WH staffers on or around January 20th? That hasn't happened either.

I really wish Trump would go away, but it doesn't look like that will happen. And if it does, there will be another despicable Republican in the White House, one who might actually be able to get dreadful legislation passed. Meanwhile, he's gutting everything worthwhile in this country, and it will be years, more like decades before those things can be undone.
