As someone said upthread, there's no motivation for a British newspaper to fabricate something like this. Nevertheless, it might be good to take his denial at face value in this instance, and say, "IF this quote is accurate, it's very troubling," etc. That way it doesn't look like we're seizing on an unverified source to try to discredit Romney. I can GUARANFUCKINGTEE there will be other times Romney verbally steps on his dick, hopefully while he's in the country, that we can make plenty of hay with. He's that terrible of a candidate.

On the other hand, the quote is so artless and desperate to push the "foreign" meme, I bet it's pretty close to accurate. And criticizing the president while on foreign soil is very bad form. IF it's accurate.
