Utah politicians propose a 'buddy system' and are told to 'walk in groups' to save them from honeytraps after Republican senator resigns amid call girl scandal and another claims a prostitute tried to lure him to a hotel


Lawmakers in Utah are urging members to use a 'buddy system' to prevent them from getting screwed over by hookers following Utah state Rep. Jon Stanard's scandal, and resignation.

'We feel like it's appropriate at this time to put everybody on alert there may be people with mal-intent that are trying to, for money, try to put us in a situation,' Republican Senate President Wayne Niederhauser said in a meeting with reporters and Senate leadership on Friday.

Niederhauser was referring to call girl Brie Taylor's claims to DailyMail.com that Stanard, 43, paid her for sex twice.

Now another lawmaker has come forward to say a woman tried to 'honeypot' him in a hotel where one of the alleged liaisons took place.
