Too many people on the interwebs are lazy and gullible, never bothering to source- or fact-check targeted propaganda.

My mom used to forward all kinds of false crap about Obama to me, until I showed her how easy it is to fact-check most stuff. Many of my friends and family are refusing to get involved in the discussions that are taking place now, online about politics, partly because they are battle-weary, and partly because they don't know what to believe. We all need to at least be brave enough to help people use the internet wisely; it's their only chance (and maybe all of ours!).
