80. Do you really hold the "Leftists" entirely responsible for the 2010 losses?

Would you consider that even if Rahm was proved right, (which is in some dispute) he was also proved stupid? He alienated the very people he needed to inspire and persuade. It was a fucking idiotic thing to say, to borrow his vulgar language. (He must take his lessons in charisma from DU ) He utterly failed to reignite any excitement by voicing his contempt for the Left. Many of the "Leftists" cast their first presidential vote for Obama. Perhaps recognition and a modicum of gratitude might have been a more diplomatic approach.

I think accusing Leftists of whining and wailing isn't likely to bring them to the polls in droves in 2012 either. What do you think?
