Nader in 2000 said that W. would energize the left and make things better in this country. And we all saw how W. worked out.

I am getting tired of self styled liberals claiming that the best way to achieve progress is to allow fascists to take over and hope for a revolution. This is not a humane solution to our problems. It is a way to make the poor and those living on the edges of poverty suffer.

A Clinton presidency might surprise you. What if the Russians stole 2008? Would you have breathed a sigh of relief that Obama would not have had to endure virtual lynchings at the hands of racist Republicans in Congress? Obama was an effective leader. Maybe Clinton would have been an effective leader.
