(32,640 posts)34. There would be those on the left trying to be a thorn in her side
calling every pick for a cabinet position "corporatist" and every progressive gain she made "not good enough."
And all that would be offered as "proof" she was a poor candidate....and that any other Democrat who stood when they peed would not be experiencing this kind of obstruction from the GOP.
See also the excoriation of Diane Feinstein here on DU for the "disastrous and doomed" 1994 assault weapons ban that was wasted effort because it "prevented" legislation that would have TOTALLY changed the situation in this country for the better.
Because when it comes to blame, women get it heaped on them, even when they get the work of progress done, even when they are at the same time called out for "compromising" too much.
