104. Even if that obvious lie were true, it would reflect badly on him.

He is known to be a self-centered, domineering, "the man is always right" autocratic twit whose wife even admits that he was extremely jealous and controlling when they were dating (and probably still is!), but tries to explain his behavior away by saying it was just because he "loved [her] so much."

If he really doesn't know anything about her horse and its event tomorrow, that would just prove that he is so self-centered and so neglectful of even his wife's feelings that he can't bother to pretend that he gives a damn about things that are obviously very important to her.

This is actually much worse than Clinton's "I didn't inhale" claim that the Republicans mocked so loudly for so long.
