Yes, there are religions that teach the two-stage baptisms, where once someone speaks in tongues, it's proof that the Holy Spirit entered their body and will always remain there--blessed knowing that no matter what they do, they will sit by the right side of Jesus in the afterlife.

This is the reason why so many charlatans feel at ease fleecing their congregants--because the Holy Spirit only chooses the ones who are pure. And, all of their actions are divine and blessed, so they can do no wrong. This gives them carte blanche to act however they want, knowing that all is sanctioned by God.

That's one fucked up mindset right there, isn't it?
