(7,610 posts)33. I agree with your assessment but I seriously doubt that it will change. It hasn't in my lifetime and
I'm 68 years old. The 60's were were mostly because of civil rights and the Vietnam war (draft). Even then we were in the minority.
People of color historically have a low voter turnout and the vast majority of whites support this present day agenda. I suspect that until the Baby Boomer generation is replaced my a majority of millennial voters then things will probably get worse. We have left such a catastrophe for the younger generations that I feel for them.
Climate Change, Never Ending War, Guns, Greedy Bastards in control, Technology (robotics), and the White population becoming an angry minority do not bode well for our nation.
How did we get here - Dumb Ass White Voters....period.
