(4,066 posts)I must admit I wonder what sort of upheaval or revolution it will take to put the country back on a good course.
We have decimated the unions and worker protections. Now, 45 is appointing a slew of reich-wing, white guys to the bench. The list of these people 45 has been given has been carefully selected. They are young, and very right-wing. Not conservative - right-wing ideologues. The last bastion of fairness in this country used to be the courts. Now, I fear, they are no longer going to be there for the average person.
There is no quick fix for the courts. With the President we get a do-over every four years. Now, I really am wondering how we can fix the problem short of a revolution by the people. If that sounds communist or socialist then so be it. I will accept those of the fascism we're currently entrenching into our society.
