(19,323 posts)62. The opposite side of the coin: We shopped & spent at Dick's Sporting Goods today; I asked to speak
with the manager when we checked out. The staff looked worried, so I said, "No, it's a compliment, not a complaint." I told them we were specifically shopping at Dick's because we appreciated their new policy on guns, and their open hiring guidelines. My words were well received.

I live in a Dem area, a nice pizza place does the same. The owner doesn't know why business is slow.
