Those who voted for Obama and then voted for trump are not "gettable". You cannot appeal to them by logic or policy or truth. They voted for Obama for the same reason they voted for trump; they wanted drama and excitement. It was not change, but entertainment that they sought. Obama was new and "shiny". He was hot. Then trump was the "shiny" object. He had a reality tv show. Wow.

They do not care about policy or position. You cannot appeal to them with campaigns based on truth and reality. They want reality television. You think they voted for trump because they thought he cared for them and would work hard to improve their situation. If someone thought that, they are below reasoning. Come on. How could anyone be that dumb, that oblivious to reality?

They never listen to a position, read a newspaper, understand a political situation, or know how government works. They are just looking for a diversion. They will parrot back to a pollster whatever sound bite they think makes them sound reasonable or sympathetic. But we are becoming the Idiocracy. Hector Macho Camacho will get their vote every time.

Now the Obama voters who sat home. Those are who we can reach. Once they realize that they were the targets and victims of a right wing and russian led campaign of disinformation, they can see the reason they need to vote.
