The ensuing chaos, with Ryan and McConnell scrambling, will be joyous to watch. In addition, $700+ billion in military spending will get thwarted...albeit temporarily.

Maybe many of the Republicans in congress who stuck their neck out to vote for this bill will finally grow a set with respect to protecting Mueller. Maybe they'll realize they are better off with Pence's rubber stamp.

Having the ensuing shutdown be completely, unambiguously, 100% blamed on Trump would also be glorious.



For all of these reason, I think he's bluffing... and will sign it.
