(5,435 posts)36. My aunt fought MS for over 40 years. I have seen her unable to hold a comb or walk yet she
fought one. As she went blind she memorized the streets in their town so she would know where she was when riding in a car. I don't wish that sort of thing on anyone but Ann Romney is not severely handicapped by the disease. Not at all. Hopefully she never is but she should not use it to garner sympathy.
