ability to post a thoughtful discussion. That is all I am asking for. I don't care if people watch this or any other show and it is already a given that no one on DU is going to have anything but disdain for Roseanne. But that wasn't the purpose of the thread, as was made quite clear. Snippy and clearly angry subject line-only posts that ignore the starting premise that none of us like Rosanne, merely cut off discussion.

You and many others recognize that and thus post their thoughts in a considered post (even if they would never consider watching this show, detest Tom Arnold along with Roseanne, or hate that the show is coming back in any form). I thank you and others for doing so. That is what makes DU worthwhile, whether we agree with each other or not.
