47. They're literally scared STUPID

The mostly-white lower-middle class voters thought the American dream they’d been promised was slipping away because of countless immigrants arriving on our shores.

The Repukes saw an opportunity to play on those fears by turning on the hate-ray. And then when Drumpf got the nomination, saw no other alternative than to get behind him and hope everything turned out.

Fear does amazing things. It happened in Germany in the 1930s. And it’s happening here. Now.
