Corporations love to wrap products in the flag at the same time as hunting for best/cheapest suppliers, no matter where they're at. Your purchase represents a certain number of jobs overseas.
Your purchase on an emotional level is as legitimate as any other. It's your money. And corporations know that a certain percentage of purchases will be made on that basis.
It's just my opinion when I state that I will NEVER make a big ticket purchase on that basis again. I was (figuratively) burned badly by Ford. Never again!
I wish you best of luck. Hey, if you only keep it a few years and sell it, you should do OK. My Nissan truck has almost 500,000 miles, has been paid for for 11 years, and will get 22 MPG all day long.
Peace out!
